Terms of service

Breakpoint Engine is a product owned and operated by GraphGrid, Inc.; these terms are an agreement between you and GraphGrid, Inc., governed by the GraphGrid, Inc. Service Terms.

Breakpoint Engine is a hosted, metered computational service. It provides computational analysis and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, or independent valuation opinions. You remain responsible for your assumptions, your judgment, and any decisions — or any report or attestation — made using the resulting analysis.

Work units are prepaid credits consumed according to engine metering. Auto-reload is enabled by default once a payment method is on file: when your balance falls below $5.00, the payment method saved at checkout is charged $99.00 for one Round pack. It is triggered by your balance, not by a calendar; it is never armed on an account with no saved payment method, and it stops when you remove the saved payment method in the Customer Portal.

Interactive scenario operations — begin, step, mutate, rewind, branch, and commit — are metered per operation and settle as each result is delivered, not at the end of a session. Once a result has been handed back to you it is billed, including where the connection breaks immediately afterwards: the work was done and delivered. That is the trade for incremental delivery and full control over stepping — you receive and keep each result as it is produced, and transport risk sits with you. Queries and diffs consume nothing.

A work-unit balance never goes below zero. Where an operation consumes more than the balance covers, the shortfall is waived rather than carried as debt or invoiced later, and the waived amount is reported in your usage data.

“First Round is On Us” promotion

The first 100 eligible accounts created between 17 August 2026 and 30 September 2026 inclusive each receive one free Round pack — 400,000 work units, a $99 value — added to the account automatically. No payment method and no promotional code are required to claim it.

An account is eligible if it was created within that period, has a verified email address, has not previously purchased work units, and has not already received this promotion. Accounts created before 17 August 2026 do not qualify. The offer is limited to one free pack per account. GraphGrid, Inc. may end the promotion at any time, including before 100 packs have been issued; the redemption limit is applied as accounts are provisioned and may be reached without notice.

The free work units expire on 31 December 2026. Unused units are forfeited on that date. They have no cash value, are not refundable, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for a credit against a future purchase. The promotion is intended for financing analysis carried out during the offer period.

Free work units are consumed before any work units you purchase, so a pack bought while free units remain is drawn on only after they are exhausted or expired. Free units are otherwise metered on the same terms as purchased ones, including the no-negative-balance and delivered-work provisions above. Receiving the promotion does not by itself enable auto-reload: as described above, auto-reload is armed only once a payment method is on file.
